May 8, 2024. That magical day when my Wednesday nights turned into an emotional rollercoaster of tears, butterflies, and heart-thumping love... and now it’s already been a year?
Time really flies but in my heart, Ryu Sunjae is still living in 2008, and Im Sol is still racing through 2023.

 “Where is Ryu Sunjae?” That unforgettable line still hits hard...

Thanks to this drama, Byeon Woo-seok shot to superstardom he’s now everyone’s favorite first love, national idol, and youth icon. And let’s not forget Kim Hye-yoon who was Im Sol. With her incredible acting, chemistry, and pure charm, she completely stole the spotlight.

🐣 After Lovely Runner: What’s Next for Our Leads?

Because the drama was successful, both actors were extra cautious about choosing their next roles. But guess what? We finally have answers!

Byeon Woo-seok   MBC’s “21st Century Prince's Wife” (working title)

• He’ll play a prince, Yi An, the son of the king, yet someone who can’t have anything he wants…
• And his co star? IU, playing the ambitious “gold spoon” Seong Hee-joo!

Kim Hye-yoon   SBS’s “Human from Today”

• She’ll be playing Eun-ho, a gumiho (nine-tailed fox) who doesn’t want to become human!
• Starring alongside Lomon, it’s going to be a wild rom-com ride.
• A character who enjoys eternal youth and cherry-picks the fun parts of the human world? Count me in!!

Also, Hye-yoon is reportedly considering a lead role in the upcoming horror movie “Salmokji” (working title).
So after rom-com… is horror next?! This girl’s range is insane!.

A year later, I’m still on YouTube searching for “Lovely Runner best scenes,” “Sunjae and Sol reunion,” “Eclipse concert scene” …
Every time I rewatch, I cry, laugh, swoon this drama wasn’t just a drama.
It was a whole feeling, a moment in time.
