Chemistry so real it hurts
I swear, the way Seonga and Gyeonwoo look at each other is criminal. Like, the screen literally sizzles when they’re in the same frame. There’s this constant undercurrent of “we’re doomed but I still can’t stay away” energy and honestly, it’s addicting AF.

Every glance, every tiny smile, every moment where they just barely brush against each other feels like electricity. It’s the kind of slow-burn you beg for but also secretly fear because it cuts so deep.

Not your average love stroy. It's haunted (Literally).

Seonga isn’t just a high school girl she’s a shaman who talks to ghosts for breakfast.

And Gyeonwoo? He’s got this ethereal, cursed vibe that makes you want to protect him and cry for him at the same time.

Also, can we talk about Shin-eomma? In the world of Korean shamanism, a “spirit mother” is a mentor, protector, and spiritual guardian, deeply involved in guiding a disciple from the moment they begin training to become a shaman and throughout their entire career thereafter.

She’s not Seonga’s biological mom, but she’s the fierce, no-nonsense “mom figure” who’s got her back through thick and thin. Their relationship adds a whole extra layer of feels fierce love mixed with tough love, the kind of bond that’s rare and real.

Add in a vengeful spirit with a tragic backstory, intense spiritual battles, and a cast of characters who are all fighting their own demons literally and figuratively and you get a drama that’s equal parts heartwarming and spine-tingling.

Toxic? Maybe. Heartwarming? Absolutely.
Their story is messy, painful, and sometimes so toxic you wanna yell at them through the screen. But beneath all that, there’s this crazy beautiful sense of found family, healing, and fighting fate together. Watching Seonga and her spirit mother’s relationship unfold gives me all the feels it’s fierce, imperfect, and real.
OST That Hits Different. Sung by Miyeon of (G)I-DLE!
Not gonna lie, the soundtrack is everything. And the main OST is sung by none other than Miyeon from (G)I-DLE, one of K-pop’s most talented idols. Her voice perfectly captures the drama’s emotional waves, making every scene even more unforgettable.

This drama is a heartbreak wrapped in hope, a curse wrapped in love, and a whole mood you didn’t know you needed. If you want a show that makes you ugly-cry, smile through tears, and desperately ship doomed romance, Head Over Heels is calling your name.
If Head Over Heels has you feeling some type of way, why not bring a little of that magic home?
